Equitura LLP (‘Equitura’ or ‘we’) collects and processes personal data when you provide it to us with your consent, or where it is provided to us in the course of our legitimate business interests, which may include direct marketing and the provision of consulting advisory and training services.

Equitura provides a range of consulting services to our clients. In this respect, we are likely deemed a ‘Data Controller’ under applicable Data Protection Laws with respect to the personal data we obtain from our clients about their personnel and other individuals with whom we work. The personal data Equitura processes primarily includes contact details of our clients and their employees and their other personnel, along with any other data relating to such individuals in which they are identified or from which they are identifiable. Equitura primarily collects personal data directly from clients but may also use public sources.

HOW WE USE AND PROTECT DATA
At Equitura, the personal data we collect is used in connection with the provision of services to our clients. Website analytics may be used to help us make improvements to website content and navigation.

AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
Individuals will not be subject to decisions that will have a material impact on them, based solely on automated decision-making.
DATA RETENTION
Unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, we will only hold your data on our systems for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy or until you request that the data be deleted.
Even if we delete your data, it may persist on backup or archival media for legal, tax or regulatory purposes.
OPT OUT RIGHT
Where required under applicable data privacy rights, Equitura will not send promotional materials unless data subjects have opted-in to receive these communications. CHANGES OF BUSINESS OWNERSHIP AND CONTROL
Equitura may, from time to time, expand or reduce our business and this may involve the sale and/or the transfer of control of all or part of Equitura. Data provided by clients will, where relevant to any part of our business so transferred, be transferred along with that part and the new owner or newly controlling party will, under the terms of this Policy, be permitted to use the data for the purposes for which it was originally supplied to us. If this occurs, we will take steps with the aim of ensuring that your privacy is protected.
ACCESS TO AND ABILITY TO CORRECT PERSONAL DATA
Equitura will, following request via e-mail, provide to a summary of any personally identifiable information retained by Equitura. Individuals may modify, correct or update personally identifiable information that Equitura has collected or may request that certain personal information is removed from Equitura's database by contacting Equitura via e-mail.
