Cliff has over twenty years of experience of building and leading high performing technology teams in the UK, regionally (EMEA) and internationally.

Most recently he was the Managing Director of the European Entity of Argo AI, a robotics and artificial intelligence company, where he led the restructuring and sale of that entity to VW.  

Cliff started his career in the British Army where he qualified as a Communications Systems Engineering Officer and gained a foundation in high performance technical leadership in a number of roles supporting United Kingdom Special Forces operations in the UK and across the globe over the course of a decade.  He was formerly the Chief Information Security Officer of Deloitte Switzerland and the lead of a regional cybersecurity function covering over twenty countries across EMEA.

Cliff is passionate about building diverse, technically capable and cohesive teams that make use of the best talent from globally and locally to achieve challenging business goals.  He is also an experienced leadership and management coach, particularly in mentoring leaders in transition to senior C-Suite roles.

Jillian Naylor, Partner

Jillian blends eighteen years of legal experience supporting organisations on their most sensitive people issues with in-depth understanding of the impact that organisational culture and group dynamics have on the experience of individuals in the workplace, organisational risk and outcomes, and the social impact of organisations.  

Until September 2021, Jillian was an Employment Partner at a magic circle law firm, leaving to pursue a market-leading Masters’ degree at LSE in Organisational and Social Psychology. Jillian is passionate about working with organisations to avoid risk and improve outcomes by proactively building and supporting positive, inclusive and resilient workplace cultures where staff feel valued and respected and diverse talent can thrive.      

Jillian focuses on helping organisations gain insight into their workplace culture and on developing and implementing systemic solutions and culture change strategies to tackle issues such as bullying, harassment and workplace conflict and to harness benefits of diversity, psychological safety, and employee voice. Jillian is also a CEDR accredited mediator.  

Laura Durrant, Partner

Laura has spent her career advising organisations on understanding and resolving issues, as both a lawyer and advisory consultant.  Laura was formerly Head of Litigation, Regulatory and Investigations at a large financial institution and a Partner at a global law firm.    

Laura focuses on the causes of organisational issues, particularly the importance of diversity and cultures of equity and inclusion in supporting positive challenge and inclusive debate.  Whilst all forms of diversity are important, Laura’s recent experience has been particularly focused on race, gender and social mobility, and Laura has completed a Masters at UCL on Race, Ethnicity and Postcolonial Studies.   Alongside her work with Equitura, Laura is the CEO of the Black Talent Charter, which works with British business to embed equity of opportunity and representation for Black talent.

Among her participation in many voluntary social justice focused programmes, Laura is a Trustee of the charity, Action for Race Equality.   Laura is also the Chair of technology company, Associo, which uses a structured reasoning system to streamline the provision of advisory services and equips organisations with the tools to better leverage and support the expertise of their people.   

Maddy Durrant, Partner

Maddy has worked at senior levels in education and is an expert on safeguarding best practices, advising on the proactive review and structuring of appropriate systems and the building of supportive cultures.   As a qualified teacher, Maddy delivers workshops on a range of topics including safeguarding and equity programmes. 

Maddy also has over a decade of experience in communications and brand management across the private, public and third sectors with a focus on crisis communications, campaigns, PR strategy and public affairs. Formerly a Head of Communications for a national charity, Maddy supports clients to align their internal strategy and culture with public expectations and risks.
